Be Ready for natural disasters and emergencies because you never know when a disaster such as a tornado or earthquake or some other emergency will catch you off guard.

Around the time I had a brush with death, I came up with a theory on the meaning of life, in which I hypothesized that because each day you are alive you learn something new, the meaning of life must be to enjoy the experience of life and the experience of learning the many lessons life has to teach us by experiencing and learning all that you can, and useing that knowledge to better the world around us so that we can continue to enjoy and experience life.  Little did I know back then... but it encouraged me to take in any and every opportunity to learn something new, and allows for me to write about a wide variety of topics.

My love for writing began with poetry and short stories, as I was always one of those out of the box, black sheep, and felt writing poetry and short stories was the only way I was able really to express myself. Now I write because my life exeperiences have allowed me to see how I can help others from the experiences I've had through my writing, plus both writing and helping others are just a couple of my many passions!

I may not be considered an expert by some fancy piece of paper, or have the best formal education... just a degree in web design.  However, I have spent my whole life researching, experiencing, and learning new things, and I'm sure you will find that I have a lot of very interesting, helpful, and valuable information to share.  After all, it is not the piece of paper that determines the intelligence of a person, but the individual's determination in seeking out true knowledge and information.
