Will it Replace Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory in the Ratings?

This Photo was taken with my computer's print screen key while having the episode of History Channels new series - Brad Meltzer's Decoded on History.com paused. However I did edit it with Photoshop adding a blur around the crew and the black frame.

The History channel’s new series Brad Meltzer’s Decoded is said to investigate the other half of history, the half of history that has been hidden through the use of symbols, which come from deep within the shadows of the past. Might it be new competition to Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory on Tru TV? After watching all the episodes of the new series, and analyzing it with the current knowledge I have into the subjects covered thus far by Decoded, I don't really think the question at hand is whether it is the new competition to Conspiracy Theory . With the obvious fact that it was designed to be the new opposition to Conspiracy Theory, I think the real question is whether Decoded is factual enough to persuade the viewers to watch it.

Something’s Just Not Right

I have to admit that this show worries me a bit, as I know that there are many people realizing that there is something just not right going on in the world; economically, politically, publicly, etc., and many are starting to search for answers. Thus, I find it necessary to stress how important it is that you engage into research of your own, and acknowledge all information. However do not believe anything to be the absolute truth unless you have substantial supporting evidence. Many of you who began searching for answers before the History Channel created Brad Meltzer’s Decoded, I’m sure have heard that statement before, but it is a caution that must be made to inform others who are new to wanting to find truthful information and the research process.

Hollywood Reporter

If you’ve seen any episodes of Brad Meltzer's Decoded on the History Channel, you may get that feeling like some digging needs to be done on this show, well, at least that was the feeling that I got, because something just didn’t seem right. One of the first things that I noticed was the body language and how quickly Brad Meltzer and his crew (especially Christine McKinley) were to dismiss certain information. It was not only apparent in their remarks, but their demeanor displayed an obvious closed mind. A closed mind is destructive to the learning process and the search for true information, as well as it is a controlled mind. An open mind is nurturing to the learning process and is free to explore.

Hey Brad Meltzer, Could You Repeat the Answer Please?

The Illuminati: Facts & Fiction
Amazon Price: $14.51
List Price: $17.95
Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True
Amazon Price: $13.24
List Price: $16.95
The Resistance Manifesto
Amazon Price: $15.94
List Price: $19.95

After watching a couple of the episodes I soon realized that any questions that Brad Meltzer brings into view really don’t even get answered. By the end of each episode Brad always comes back to the same result, which is that he doesn’t know the answer and more research needs to be done. Though I will give the History Channel and Brad the acknowledgement that they have brought to light some interesting facts, I don't think that they will surpass Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory on Tru TV.

I hope not! I love the Conspiracy Theory show! Yeah, the producers try to add in some things that can't be verified just to 1. make it entertaining and 2. make some people not believe any of it because they can pick out the extra stuff tossed in.

But there is so much factual information give through that show that people need to know. I mean how many other TV shows get their episodes pulled and deleted from peoples' TiVos because they don't want people watching it?
