Come See Why Messengers Choir Got Invited to Lincoln Center
61The Moriarty High School Messengers Choir Returns Favor to Community
As the New Mexico Moriarty High School Messengers Choir received a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a performance of Rene Clausen’s Requim at the Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall, the young adult singers in the Messengers Choir would like to give you the opportunity to hear them sing at two (2) separate occasions just in case you wanted to hear for yourself how well these young adult singers can sing. I can imagine it will be quite a performance as their high quality musical performance and musicianship is what landed them the invitation from DCINY to participate in the performance of Rene Clausen’s Requim at the Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall.
Why the Favor?
The musical performances that the Moriarty Messengers Choir is giving are to help them with raising funds to pay for the expenses of travel and accommodation in New York, so that they can accept their lifetime opportunity to sing at Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall as well as be able to proudly proclaim the musical performance at Lincoln Center on their resume. I know that your support really means a lot to them as quite a few of the young adult singers in the Moriarty Messengers Choir have life goals in the musical industry, field of education, and health. A resume of performing at Lincoln Center can very well be the key that unlocks the door to the colleges the young adult singers in the Moriarty Messengers Choir need to go to in order to achieve those life goals.
May Not Be Carnegie Hall, But the New Mexico Shrine Circus and a Romantic Dinner Can Be Just as Memorable
The first event that the Moriarty Messengers Choir will perform at will be the New Mexico Shrine Circus at the Tingley Coliseum on Sat., Feb 11, 2012 for the 3pm and 7pm shows. This performance the Moriarty Messengers choir is giving is part of the Saturday performance that the New Mexico Shrine circus is giving at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, all you have to do is purchase the New Mexico Shrine Circus tickets and be sure to check out the Moriarty Messengers Choir when you take your family out to enjoy the New Mexico Shrine Circus.
As the second event is going to be a fundraiser sweetheart dinner that the Moriarty Messengers Choir is holding to help raise money for the trip to New York so that they can participate in the performance at Lincoln Center, it means a great deal to the young adult singers that they have a good turn out to the event. The sweetheart dinner event is going to be held on February 24th at 6:00pm at the Moriarty Civic Center. My insider tells me that the sweetheart dinner is going to be a rarity for sure, a meal that very few people in New Mexico have had. In fact, the meat for the sweetheart dinner is coming all the way from Nebraska, and according to my insider; you’re not going to want to miss it.
Your support in these musical performance fundraising events is greatly appreciated, as quite a few of the young adults in the Moriarty Messengers Choir have expressed that music is a passion for them which allows them to fully express themselves and can be very healing to the soul. If you would like to give financial support in sending these singers to New York, be sure to attend the performance at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, the musical sweetheart dinner that the Messengers Choir is giving at the Moriarty Civic Center, or you can contact the Director of the Moriarty High School Messengers Choir at penny.voss@mesd.us.
